Dash的開發者 Bogdan Popescu發布了新的博文 Dash and Apple: My Side of the Story，大概說明了來龍去脈。目前看來, 應該不是Dash這款應用有Review Manipulation的行為， 而是Bogdan的一個親戚的應用。3-4年前，Bogdan用他的信用卡幫這個親戚開了Apple』s Developer Program Membership， 還給了她自己不再用的測試設備，從此以後他的賬戶和那個親戚的賬戶就被link在一起了。蘋果周五提出如果Bodgan發布博文承認錯誤可以恢復他的賬戶，被拒絕。今晚，蘋果會通過一個發言人來責備 Bogdan「在公眾場合非難（Manipulating） Apple Store」。文章最後還附了一段他和蘋果溝通時的通話錄音。---從Twitter上來看，Bogdan在考慮把iOS版的Dash開源出來。
Apple 高官 Phill Schiller 向 Matthew Eis 證實 Dash 研發者帳號停權的原因：

Thanks for your email about this app.
I did look into this situation when I read about it today. I am told this app was removed due to repeated fraudulent activity.
We often terminate developer accounts for ratings and review fraud, including actions designed to hurt other developers. This is a responsibility that we take very seriously, on behalf of all of our customers and developers.
I hope that you understand the importance of protecting the App Store from repeated fraudulent activity.
I think the thing we"re concerned about is that we don"t believe there"s a mistake here, right? We don"t think we made a mistake. We believe that the two accounts are linked and one of the accounts defiantly had fraudulent activities. We wanna make sure that"s CLEAR.
因為作者存在兩個賬號共用一張信用卡還有測試設備，這兩個賬號是關聯的而且另一個賬號有欺詐行為。
但是作者在博客里寫到：
3-4 years ago I helped a relative get started by paying for her Apple』s Developer Program Membership using my credit card. I also handed her test hardware that I no longer needed. From then on those accounts were linked in the eyes of Apple. Once that account was involved with review manipulation, my account was closed.
作者認為他沒有做錯，他不應該對另一個賬號的欺詐行為負責，那個賬號不是他的。然後在電話里還說想不想讓這次談話公開。Apple 說公開對他們來說完全沒有問題，因為這兩個賬號確實是關聯了，還有多個因素來證明確實違反了使用條款。Apple 給出的方案是，想讓作者發文說明這一點：作者知道兩個賬號是關聯的，並且另一個賬號存在欺詐行為，Apple 沒有做錯。然後 Apple 來幫作者解封賬號，這對作者和 Apple 都 Fair Enough。從作者的更新來看，他寫了這篇文章，然後發給了 Apple ，但是卻沒有再收到回復。文章內容是：
Apple contacted me and told me that my account will be reactivated.
My account wasn"t involved with ratings or review fraud, but instead it was closed because a few years ago I helped a fellow developer get started by paying for the Apple Developer Program Membership using my credit card. I also handed test hardware that I no longer needed, which looked to Apple like I was responsible for both of the accounts. Once that other developer was involved with review manipulation, my account was closed.
I"m happy that I was able to clear things up with Apple and that Dash will soon come back to the App Store.
明擺著還是認為自己沒有錯，換做 Apple 來看的話會樂意么？說好的 Deal 是為了幫你恢復賬號同時申明 Apple 在這件事上沒做錯，但是作者還是沒有申明這一點。
