我只讀懂了幾個，最近看了56屆格萊美上面有第一段的翻譯所以也在研究。
第一個故事：Holly代表了一個異裝癖，這一點可以從Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her legs
，Then he was a she這裡看出，Holly一一路上搭便車穿越美國遊盪，他在路途中修著眉毛，颳了腿毛，然後他就變成了她。
第二個故事：Candy代表了一個妓女，backroom是密室的意思引申一下就是妓院（傳統觀點裡妓院總是見不得人的，所以用backroom這個詞很貼切，也比較含蓄）gave sb a head的意思是給某人口交，明白這些第二段歌詞大概能讀得懂。
第三個故事：Little Joe應該是一個皮條客， give away有出賣和分發的意思，簡單說就是賣或者可以理解為發貨，hustler是皮條客的意思引申一下hustle是個動詞，就是拉皮條的意思。

LOU REED很聰明，他很會用雙關，歌名就是最好的證據，wild side就是一種雙關，代表了歌中那些瘋狂的異類們，他也很懂得含蓄隱晦的用詞來表達一些他想要的東西,他很喜歡用人物的對話，或者把「小」故事寫進歌里去，在之前地下絲絨的經典香蕉專輯中就有類似曲目例如I"m waiting for the man歌曲同樣也營造了一種畫面感，the man 應該是毒品販子。這種講故事，奇異故事或者轉句話說真實故事的運用很多，也很出色。在地下絲絨組建時在Andy Wahol的工廠里，能見到各種各樣的怪人，也許LOU的靈感來源於此，以及60年代紐約當時的現狀。
