大多是縮寫（Texting shortcut）或轉義或故意錯寫

?註：一般英文里的縮寫，有分acronym和initialism，its only called an acronym when you pronounce the abbreviation as a real word (比如NASA)。像FBI這種一個個字母分開來念的是initialism。但網路用語還有很多故意的錯寫夾雜。

後來有個機智的人加了after a while,crocodile的回答，while和 crocodile是同音詞。See you later,alligator.After a while,crocodile.於是成為順口溜。
