receive和undergo/幾個介詞/繪製生存曲線

receive和undergo的區別

表達病人接受某種治療常用receive或undergo，那麼二者有什麼區別呢？

一般來說，receive後面多接藥物或無創性的治療方法（如radiotherapy或chemotherapy），比如：

• Patients received 150 mg oral dabrafenib twice a day.
• Patients have received radiotherapy or chemotherapy for cancer.

undergo後面多接手術（如liver transplantation/RECP），比如：

• Patients underwent cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis.

另外，undergo也常用於表示接受檢查，比如：

• Patients underwent MRI scans prior to mastectomy.

幾個值得注意的小處

Parameter A decreased with the increasing parameter B.

Advantage of fluoxetine over placebo

Therapy A is superior to therapy B

Satisfaction with nursing.

繪製生存曲線如何表達

一看到「繪製」，很多同學的第一反應就是draw。其實有幾個高大上的動詞與survival curves更為搭配，如下：

• To generate survival curves
• To plot survival curves
• To construct survival curves
