今天跟小朋友分享的繪本《In a Dark,Dark House》

一所很黑很黑的房子，

聽到名字是不是覺得有點害怕啊！

一個小男孩在黑黑的夜裡走進了一棟黑黑的房子，

但是他被房子里可怕的東西嚇出來了，

是什麼把他嚇出來了，

我們趕緊來聽一聽、看一看吧！

The sun went down.

太陽下山了，

The stars came out.

星星出來了。

The clock struck ten.

鐘錶敲了十下。

And l went walking under a dark, dark moon.

我一個人走在外面。

And under that dark, dark moon,

在黑暗的夜色下，

l saw a dark, dark tree,

我看到一棵黑黑的，黑黑的樹。

Was l scared? NO!

我害怕嗎？不！

And past that dark, dark tree,

經過這棵黑黑的樹

l saw a dark, dark house, l went in the house.

我看到一所黑黑的，黑黑的房子。

Was l scared? NO!

我害怕嗎？不！

And in the dark, dark house,

在這個漆黑的房子里，

l went up some dark, dark stairs.

我走上黑黑的，黑黑的樓梯。

Was l scared? NO!

我害怕嗎？不！

And at the end of the dark, dark stairs,

在黑黑的樓梯盡頭，

l saw a dark, dark door.

我看到一扇黑黑的，黑黑的門。

l opened the door.

我推開了門。

Was l scared? NO!

我害怕嗎？不！

And behind the dark, dark door,

在這扇黑黑的門後面，

l found a dark,dark chest.

我發現了一個黑黑的，黑黑的箱子。

Was l scared?NO!

我害怕嗎？不！

l opened the dark, dark chest.

我打開了這個黑黑的箱子。

And inside was a --

裡面有一個----

MONSTER!

大怪物！

lt had three eyes!

它有3隻眼睛，

A green nose!

一個綠色的鼻子，

Long teeth and sharp claws!

還有尖尖的的爪子。

Was l scared?YES!

我害怕嗎？當然害怕了！

l shut the chest.

我關上箱子，

l slammed the door.

砰的甩上門，

l ran down the stairs and out of the house.

飛快地跑下樓梯，然後逃出了這所房子。

l ran and ran--past the tree.

我跑啊，跑啊，

No! Not past the tree.

跑過黑黑的樹。

Up the tree!

不是跑過，是爬上這棵黑黑的樹！

Safe at last, under the dark, dark moon.

最後，在黑黑的夜色下，終於安全了！

故事講完了，小朋友們，你們知道黑黑的房子里有什麼可怕的東西嗎？
