我國媒體在美國報紙上打廣告了。《得梅因紀事報》是美國農業州愛荷華州的第一大報，該州的共和黨選民居多。當地時間23日，《中國日報》在該報的「中國觀察」欄目上佔得4個版面，分析了貿易摩擦下該州農民損失慘重的情況。其中，第三版面標題直指特朗普「愚蠢」。
美國國內有不少聲音認為，這是天朝「靈活應對貿易摩擦」、「採用新戰術」的表現。對於特朗普自信滿滿的「美農都會大賺一筆」，也有不少美國網民嘲諷。有人覺得「我們的農民可能都撐不過這場貿易摩擦！」
看樣子，特朗普這次急了。
